We are all imperfect people serving a perfect God." | As a teacher I have a pet peeve. I really dislike it when writing is published with spelling or grammar mistakes. I daily teach my students the importance of editing their writing so people can understand what they are communicating. That is why I was so frustrated when someone pointed out that on our prayer card- sent out to our dear family and friends- we had written that we are "Misionaries" to Quito, Ecuador! |
After getting over the initial embarrassment, God showed me another way of looking at a frustrating situation. What a simple, little reminder that we are all imperfect people serving a perfect God! Though we make mistakes, He never does!
So when you see our prayer card we certainly hope that it reminds you to pray for our family; but now it can also be a reminder of how blessed we each are to be flawed people saved by our perfect Lord!
*If you did not receive our prayer card and would like an imperfect copy, please email or message us. We would love to have you as part of our prayer support team as we serve the Lord in Quito, Ecuador this year!*
